Who we are

Adam McGuinness

Adam McGuinness

Adam has over 20 years’ experience in the UK Industrial & Logistics property market, having previously held roles with JLL and BNP Paribas Real Estate before co-founding specialist industrial agency MWRE in 2015.

He advises developers, investors, landlords and occupiers on acquisitions, disposals, development and leasing strategy across the multi-let, mid-box and big-box logistics markets.

With a particular focus on the Midlands Adam has advised on some significant industrial transactions and developments, however his experience extends across the UK’s principal logistics locations having acquired multiple big-box solutions nationally for occupier clients.

His approach combines detailed market knowledge, long-standing industry relationships and straightforward commercial advice, with a focus on delivering the right outcome for the client.

Away from the office Adam enjoys working on his handyman and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills, whilst keeping active and spending time with friends and family.

Nick Waddington

Nick Waddington

Nick has over 30 years’ experience in the industrial and logistics sector, having been a member of the RICS since 1997 and having worked in both London and Birmingham.

Before co-founding MXW with Adam, Nick was a Partner at Carter Jonas, following its acquisition of MWRE in 2022, which Nick co-founded with Adam in 2015. Prior to that Nick was Head of BNP Paribas Real Estate’s National Industrial and Logistics Team, where he and Adam initially met.

Nick has built an extensive track record advising investors, developers, landlords, occupiers and landowners across the Midlands and wider UK. His experience spans agency, development and strategic property advice, with a particular focus on industrial and logistics assets.

Nick is known for his deep market knowledge, strong relationships across the industrial and logistics sector and a pragmatic, commercially focussed approach to delivering results for clients.

Outside of work Nick is known to travel and likes watching most sports (particularly Rugby), whilst still managing to keep active by playing Golf, Padel and Cricket.
